Washington, D.C. – Jenny Abamu's career is a blend of diplomacy and journalism. Hailing from Dallas, Texas, she joined the U.S. Department of State in 2019, where she served as an information officer/press attache in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and a vice consul Madrid, Spain. She received the Superior Honor Award for her service in Doha during the Afghan evacuation in 2021. Before delving into the world of diplomacy, Jenny worked as a journalist, notably as an education reporter for WAMU, Washington D.C.'s NPR station and EdSurge. Her work earned her a Livingston finalist award nomination and an Investigators and Editors nomination. And before journalism she was an educator working as an after school program director in the Bronx, NYC and a 4th grade teacher in Istanbul, Turkey.  Jenny holds a bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a master's in International and Comparative Education from Columbia University. She can speak conversational Spanish, and Turkish. Outside of her professional endeavors, Jenny is a wife and a mother to two young sons. She is a first-generation Nigerian-American. She blends her journalistic expertise with her personal experiences as a mother, regularly contributing to national publications.

Los Angeles, CA – Alice Shin is a versatile professional with over a decade of experience spanning product management and leadership coaching in the U.S. She has designed and delivered innovative SaaS products that have driven growth for startups across the U.S., Asia, and Latin America. Alice specializes in building scalable, accessible services without compromising quality, approaching each challenge with the heart of an educator and the mind of an entrepreneur. Her expertise includes strategic planning, data-informed decision-making, process improvement, scaling operations with technology, new market entry, international career and leadership coaching, intercultural communication, and user-centered design. A first-generation Korean-American, Alice is fluent in both Korean and Mandarin. Alice's background includes time spent in China, Korea, and major U.S. tech hubs, including her participation in Y Combinator's W17 cohort, where she honed her skills in early-stage startups, teamwork, and negotiation. Alice holds a Master’s Degree in International Education Development from Columbia University, where she was President of the Society of Education and Entrepreneurship. She has also studied Mandarin at Peking University and holds a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA. Outside of work, Alice enjoys surfing, cycling, teaching Pilates, and mentoring Gen Z talent through Pangaea Abroad.
